$500 Student Scholarship

If you attended school in the Gallatin Gateway area (or were home schooled) and would like to apply for the Willing Workers Ladies Aid, Inc. Gallatin Gateway Student Scholarship Program please submit the following materials to WWLA at P.O. Box 329, Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730:

  1. A completed WWLA Gallatin Gateway Student Scholarship Program Application form.
  2. A letter including:
    • reason the applicant wishes consideration
    • description of community service/charitable work performed by the applicant
    • statement of the applicant’s perceived financial need
  3. A current copy of the applicant’s high school transcript (or GED Certification) and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or administrator employed by applicant’s high school.
  4. A copy of the applicant’s high school final transcript and a copy of the letter of acceptance from the educational institution for the upcoming term.

Primary application materials (items #1, #2 and #3 above) are due to WWLA by April 1 to be considered for a fall term award. We recognize the applicant’s final transcript and letter of acceptance (item #4 above) may not be available until after the deadline and will accept those items at a later date. We will not be able to release any funds until all application materials have been submitted to WWLA.

Scholarship disbursements will be made directly to the educational institution’s registrar in the student’s name. If WWLA receives more applications than there are scholarships, awards will be made on a firstcome, first-served basis.
